Welcome to the Schuylkill Valley Pool League website! We are located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania! Our nonprofit organization is supported by local sponsors with a membership of 300+ pool players of all abilities. SVPL is a winter 8-Ball league that runs from September to May. The league consists of two divisions (American and National) consisting of six or more teams each and are sponsored by area private clubs and bars. Our season consists of 22 matches and the top four teams from each division participate in the playoffs to establish the overall champion or "Best of the Best"! The remaining teams from each division play to establish the "Best of the Rest".
We welcome all new teams and players. Please contact one of the SVPL League Officers for more information.
Our web site provides a means of communicating the league's significant events. You can find the weekly scores, season playing and tournament schedules, league rules and by-laws, and so much more! During the season this web site will change weekly as new scores are posted. Our hope is to encourage everyone to visit here often and make use of the resources offered.
Each Pool Team also has an individual team web page set up for their use. So if anyone has some pictures or interesting articles you would like to see on the site drop us a line.
We hope to have a useful site as well as a historical archive of information about the Schuylkill Valley Pool League.
